Pullulan is one of natural water soluble polysaccharide, produced from fermented corn, widely used as additive of food, pharmaceuticals and consumer goods. It has no cross-linking reaction (cross-linking reaction will decrease disintegration and dissolution rate, the speed of drug release is stable, the individual difference is tiny.
